Over 36 Years of Dedication and Development

1989

Founding of Ektaco

Ektaco was established as an Estonian-Finnish joint venture. It was the fourth joint venture in Estonia.
1991

First Market - Finland

We brought our first product, the CompuCash point-of-sale (POS) system, to the Finnish market.
1993

First Client in Estonia

After two years of preparation, we gained our first client in Estonia, which was the Tallinn TV Tower
1994

Launch of a New Product

We supplied Access Control Systems to the Tallinn-Helsinki ferry, which marked the beginning of our second business line.
1996

Meeting Management System

The Estonian Parliament needed a voting solution, which we had the honour to developed for them. This is how our third business line began.
2000

The Fourth Business Line

All our products are born from client needs, and the CompuAccess time and attendance solution was no exception.
2014

Expansion

With the first successful CompuCash export projects behind us, we decided to expand into both the Latvian and Lithuanian markets.
2019

CompuCash Becomes Truly International

CompuCash, as the flagship of Ektaco's products, entered the United Arab Emirates market.
2020

Cloud-Based Solutions

The shift to the cloud for our CompuAccess solution happened several years ago, followed by the launch of CompuCash5 as a cloud-based POS in 2020.
2024

Meeting Management System

Ourv oting system received a new look and form when we built it into a comprehensive solution that helps manage meetings.
2025

Newest Solutions

We develop our products rapidly. This year, the Android/iOS POS system received a new design, and we launched a mobile client loyalty card solution in Wallet.
